BIO-ID - VSCARD™

The unique feature of this card is the VSCode®. Because of its high data capacity, this 2-D Symbology stores the true identity of, and necessary information about, the cardholder, securely and privately, directly inside the VSCode®. There is no central database requirement when information is needed immediately, such as: Social Security number, blood type, HIV status, criminal background status, “ice” number (in case of emergency), organ donor preferences, birthmark description and fingerprint minutiae, if desired. This card can be used as a universal multi-purpose card because of the VSCode^®

EMPLOYEE ID - VSCARD™

Again, the unique feature of this card is the VSCode^®. The Symbol stores the pertinent information and true identity about the cardholder. This card can be used as a payroll card, time and attendance card, as well as an access-control card, and more.

VSCARD™

This card has three unique features that are only available from Veritec:

• VSCode^® -Pertinent information about the cardholder is stored in the VSCode®.
• Cell phone TOGGLE – Features the ability to turn the debit card’s magnetic stripe on and off. The magnetic stripe is widely used for banking transactions, but only facilitates transactions without providing security. With a swipe of the card the transaction is completed without protecting the owner’s account. Our phone toggle feature stops others from using the rightful owner’s card.

DEBIT - VSCARD™

This card has all the features of the VSCard™. It has the VSCode® feature and the cell phone toggle capabilities. It can be used anywhere in the world where debit cards are accepted.

GIFT - VSCARD™

This gift card is a card, except it has no name on the card to identify the cardholder. It has the VSCode^® symbol to store desire data as well as the cell phone toggle feature to protect the fraudulent use of the card. This card carries a maximum amount $500. If the owner wishes to reload the card, certain information about the card’s owner is required, after which the card can be reloaded three more times, to a total amount of $2,000.

SEI - Low Cost ID Cards & Badges (No VSCode^®)

In 2006, Veritec, Inc., purchased the assets of Secure Environment, Inc., to use its web-based software to enable our customers to design their own ID badges on the web. The customer has total control of their card design and information. The completed card design and information are uploaded to Veritec’s website location. Veritec prints the card and sends it back to the customer who designed it.

Other Card Types

VSCode in Smart Card

Smart card technology uses a microchip embedded on a plastic PVC card. This type of card is more expensive and the decoding speed is slower than the VSCode®. Data within the microchip can be modified or altered. To add another level of security to smart card, information that require privacy or secrecy can be stored inside a VSCode^® then embedded the Code inside the microchip. We have several patents on this technology to digitize a VeriCode in a Smart chip.

RFID and VSCode

RFID is a common technology and often being use for access control. The card provides little security because any one with access to the card can enter the facility. By adding a VSCode^® on to a RFID card will add another layer of security especially when granting access is the utmost concern of management.

Card Readers and Scanners

In order to decode (read) the information that stored within the VSCode^®, one must have access to Veritec’s readers or scanners that have Veritec’s proprietary decoding software. The FCR-100; DCR-50; MCR-100 are manufactured by Veritec and can only be purchased directly from Veritec or its approved distributors.
